Rumors have been swirling for a few months now that LEGO will be offering up a line of Muppet minifigs. While they haven’t been officially announced yet, a leaked image of the package seems to give legitimacy to the rumor.
According to Instagram user @toronto.legolover, there will be 12 blind box characters including Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, Bunsen, Beaker, Animal and The Swedish Chef. We don’t yet know who the last four will be.
As exciting as this is, it’s slightly disappointing that they’re not a part of a larger set. Say, a Muppet Theater or Electric Mayhem stage or even a Rainbow Connection tableau. Still, it will be great to have the opportunity to include a LEGO Kermit onto our LEGO Sesame Street set.
