Way back in 1981, Mr. Rogers and Big Bird conspired to take over children’s television with a cleverly executed set of cameos on Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood and Sesame Street. Mr. Rogers visited the Street to judge a race between Big Bird and Mr. Snuffleupagus, and then Big Bird took his vacation in the Land of Make Believe. The latter of the two is now preserved on DVD.
