It’s been several years since Funko produced any more Pop figures based on our friends from Sesame Street. Well, rumor has it that the dry spell is about to end.
FunkoInfo on Instagram is claiming that another wave of Sesame Pops is rumored to be on the way. This wave will include Elmo and Tango (packed together), the Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, and a deluxe Big Bird in his nest. Now, three of these characters have already been made into Pops in the first set of Sesame figures back in 2015. So, possibly bad news for those of you who already have a The Cookie Monster, but potentially good news for those of you with a nest-less Big Bird.
But, the rumors may be true, as Dis.Trackers has found a picture of an upcoming Pop figure of Elmo on his tricycle, which will be a TargetCon exclusive.
