Just earlier today, our own Jarrod Fairclough extolled his concerns about the marketing for Muppets Haunted Mansion and its emphasis on the celebrity guests over the actual Muppet parts. I don’t think even he knew that within a few hours of posting that, the Muppets would make yet another announcement on social media about even more famous peoples appearing in the new special. Is that what being clairvoyant is like? Should we be renting him out as a fortune teller for birthday parties?
Anywho, onto to those guests. We’ve got three more non-Muppets appearing in the special: Yvette Nicolle Brown (you know, from Drake & Josh!) as the Hearse Driver, John Stamos (you know, from that one episode of Galavant!) as…”Special Appearance!” and Kim Irvine! You may wondering what TV show she’s from. Well, she’s part of the Walt Disney Imagineering team and is actually the daughter of Leota Toombs, who served as the face for Madam Leota on the attraction. That’s pretty neat!
Will there be even more celebrity guests announced tomorrow? I don’t know, but I’ll try not to lose any sleep over it; that’s what my creaky foundation is for.
