The Muppets help solve Lost mystery!

lostkermitDanny Horn of Muppet Wiki (and ToughPigs) fame is in the midst of some in-depth research into some mysterious Tweets from the masters of mystery themselves: Lost writers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse.

On April Fools Day, in what is hopefully not an April Fools joke, Damon Lindelof posted on Twitter, “Did I meet Kermit the Frog today? Why, yes. As a matter of fact, I did.” He did??? Was Kermit visiting the Lost gang in Hawaii? Is Lindelof shooting promos with the Frog in LA? Is Miss Piggy the Smoke Monster???

Later that day, Carlton Cuse Tweeted, “Acting with the Muppets yesterday has helped me be lights out with my April Fools pranks today.” Aha, so they were acting! And where there’s acting, there’s video proof! And where there’s video proof, there’s us, waiting for it to show up on YouTube.

Finally, Danny uncovered the sick and twisted truth. Kermit the Frog and the Swedish Chef filmed an episode of Lost‘s weekly web-exclusive show “Lost Slapdown” with Lindelof and Cuse. So hopefully we Lost fans won’t have to wait too long before seeing what sort of nonsense Team Darlton cooked up for us. Here’s hoping the Swedish Chef explains what happened to Walt.
