Dungeons and Dragons and Oubilettes: Labyrinth the RPG

What happens when a Goblin King meets a Dungeon Master?  You get the upcoming Labyrinth roleplaying game!

Jim Henson’s Labyrinth: The Adventure Game is heading our way later this year!  The game comes from River Horse, who previously released two beautiful-looking board games based on Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal.

The game promises to be fun for both seasoned roleplayers as well as newbies like me (thanks to some streamlined rules and guidelines included in the book).

The game will include a book full of Brian Froud art, 90 interlaced “scenes” that change depending on a roll of the dice or luck of the draw, and a 13-hour clock counting down the time before you either lose and start over or defeat Jareth once and for all.

Despite the fact that I’ve never played an RPG before, I’m incredibly psyched about this one.  I can’t wait to be immersed in the world of the Labyrinth.  Stay tuned for more info, including release date, as we hear it!
