For reasons unknown to me, Miss Piggy has not yet been officially inducted into the ranks as a Disney Princess. She fills all the criteria, being a part of a valued property owned by Disney, and by being undeniably regal in everything she does. I dunno, maybe it’s because she’s more of a queen?
Artist Kristi O must’ve been asking herself the same question, because she’s gone ahead and spliced Miss Piggy (and a bunch of other Muppets) into Disney movies, and the effect is pretty seamless. Not that I’m advocating for an animated Muppet movie, but Kristi’s style matches the Disney films so well, she makes an excellent argument for one.
And that’s not all! Kristi has also created some gorgeous physical artworks, recreating some of the toys seen in Sarah’s bedroom in Labyrinth! You can see all of those as well below.
