ToughPigs Art: James Carroll’s Female Muppet Performer Tribute

It’s a fact that female Muppet performers are underrepresented in the greater Muppet world. Not only are there not enough of them, but they’re so very important to helping build diversity both behind the scenes and on our screens. Muppet fan artist James Carroll agrees, and he’s doing so with his new series paying tribute to just a few of these talented performers.

Below, you’ll find James’ first three tributes, honoring the characters of Julianne Buescher, Louise Gold, and Karen Prell. Naturally, there are plenty more women to homage, and James promises more to come. But seeing that it’s Women’s History Month, we couldn’t help but share!

For more of James’s work, be sure to follow him on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook!
