Filmmaker, animator, and children’s book illustrator Jane Aaron passed away this week at the age of 67.  You may not recognize her, but you’ll definitely recognize her many, many animations from Sesame Street.

Included on her resume were projects for MTV, Nick at Nite, and The Learning Channel, as well as children’s programs like Between the Lions and HBO Family.  But the feather in her cap seemed to be her work with Sesame Street.

For example, she provided the animation in “Right In the Middle of My Face” with Elmo:

And “What’s Inside”, featuring Cookie Monster:
