Muppets Haunted Mansion was released yesterday and I very much enjoyed it. But, if there’s one thing I feel it needed more of, it was the presence of our deceased, past Presidents. Well, I must have been a very good boy this year, because my dream is coming true…ish!
“Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln” has recently re-opened at Disneyland, featuring an exhibit of “The Art of the Haunted Mansion.” Because when you think of one of our nation’s finest Presidents, you naturally think of Doom Buggies. Well now, they’ve included some items from Muppets Haunted Mansion in the exhibit!
The newly-installed section features some props and set pieces from the special, including Gonzo and Pepe’s coffins from the “Life Hereafter” number, Madam Pigota’s crystal ball, and a door with Doglion’s face on it! Nearby, you’re also able to watch a scene from the special if you haven’t already seen the full production, which I highly encourage you do.
We currently don’t know how long these items will be on display, so if you happen to be a hop, skip, and a jump away from Disneyland, go and check it out while you can!
