It’s great to see the Disney theme parks acknowledge the existence of the Muppets at all. And we’re pleased to see that Disneyland and Walt Disney World are both doing their part to promote the upcoming special, Muppets Haunted Mansion!

According to the Disney Food Blog (who also provided the images in this post), the first celebration will be found at Muppet*Vision 3D in Walt Disney World. In addition to the normal pre-show (which features Gonzo, Rizzo and the gang prepping for the 3D show), you’ll see exclusive content from Muppets Haunted Mansion. The new pre-show will begin on October 1st.

Over at PizzeRizzo, the Muppet-themed pizzeria in Hollywood Studios, you can purchase Muppets Haunted Mansion-themed eclairs featuring the “stretching room” portraits seen in the special! The eclairs are available now.

Starting on October 8th, there will be a Muppets Haunted Mansion-themed photo op in Magic Kingdom, next to the actual Haunted Mansion. In an example of pure Disney magic, a photographer will take your picture, and Miss Piggy’s floating head will be right next to you. Spooooky.

Meanwhile, over at Disneyland in Anaheim, there will be more photo ops on the Esplanade (between Disneyland and California Adventure), including this funky-looking Muppets Haunted Mansion wall.

Finally, the Main Street Opera House in Disneyland (next door to Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln) will host exclusive content from the special, quite possibly the same content found at Muppet*Vision 3D in Orlando. That will premiere on October 8th.

It’s great to see Muppets in the parks! Here’s hoping we’ll be seeing more Muppets at Disneyland and Disney World after Muppets Haunted Mansion breaks all the streaming records! And remember – Muppets Haunted Mansion premieres on Disney+ on October 8th!
