The Muppets are once again being immortalized in decorative plastic as a part of Hallmarks’ annual Christmas Keepsake Ornaments collection. This year, we’re getting the boys from the lab – Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker! While Beaker was previously made into an ornament by Hallmark in 2011 (modeled after his Webby Award-winning “Ode to Joy” video), this is Bunsen’s first turn in this collection.
Now, I can’t help but wonder why they didn’t go with something Electric Mayhem-related what with them having a new show out right now. But I guess the Animal ornament last year qualifies? At any rate, Bunsen and Beaker go on sale starting July 15, so mark your calendars and prepare your gorilla detectors!
