We are saddened to learn that actress and politician Glenda Jackson has passed away.
Throughout her illustrious career, Jackson was honored with two Academy Awards, three Emmy Awards, and a Tony Award. But despite all of that, she’s best known to us as the guest star in a memorable episode of The Muppet Show.
In Glenda Jackson’s episode, the Muppet Theater has turned into a pirate ship, and brings along a hefty amount of chaos in its wake. Of course, Jackson stars as the Captain of the pirate crew.
