A few weeks ago, we were contacted by the BBC, because they were filming a news item about the closing of New York City’s flagship FAO Schwarz store, and they wanted to include us, mainly because of our extended coverage of the Whatnot Workshop over the years.  So who are we to say no to the parent network of Doctor Who, Monty Python, and The Furchester Hotel?

We were excited to talk a bit about what FAO Schwarz means to us, and what the loss of FAO’s Muppet Whatnot Workshop means to the Muppet fan community.  While a lot of that stuff got cut (understandably, as the video is only a couple minutes long), they also chose to leave out our plug for ToughPigs.com.  But you know and we know and that’s all that matters, right??

Now watch the BBC’s story about the impending closing of FAO Schwarz featuring Joe Hennes and Ryan Roe from Muppet fan site ToughPigs dot com!  (See? It wasn’t that hard.)
