Emily Squires, director of many Sesame Street specials, videos, and episodes, has passed away at the age of 71.

Squires directed such Sesame productions as “Elmocize,” “Elmo Says BOO,” “Zoe’s Dance Moves,” and “Elmo Saves Christmas”, and she directed episodes of the show from 1992-2007.  She also worked on projects like “Christmas Eve on Sesame Street” and “Don’t Eat the Pictures.”  Click here for her article on the Muppet Wiki, which contains her full list of credits.

Emily Squires helped to bring us a huge collection of memorable Sesame Street productions, and for that, we are incredibly grateful.
