Here are some things I love, in no particular order: Muppets, collectables, vintage things, art, and music. So when we learned that a new printing of a classic Sesame Street album was coming out on vinyl, all of my nerd synapses started firing.
Sesame Road, which had never been released on vinyl before this year, became available to purchase on Record Store Day at the end of November. The print run was reasonably small, so it’s very possible that if you didn’t get your copy already, it’ll be hard to find.
Thankfully, the good people at Entertainment One Music have offered us two copies of the album to give away to our readers! (Well, not all of our readers, unless you want to set up some sort of sharing schedule.)
Here’s how you win: We want you to create a picture of Muppets crossing Abbey Road. You can draw, Photoshop, paint, or get creative in any way you’d like. Preference is given to Sesame Street characters, but we’ll accept any Muppets, Fraggles, or Henson creations. You can create your own background or you can use this template to get you started.
Send your entries to Art@ToughPigs.com by Wednesday, December 14th, and we’ll share the entries here on ToughPigs soon after. And then we’ll do our best to get the records to you in time for the holidays. What a great Christmas gift!
Good luck, Muppet fans!
