A few years ago, the Disney Emoji Blitz smartphone game launched with Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear as playable characters. So of course, that was all it took for a few Muppet fans (myself included) to get completely hooked on the simple game. Since then, other Muppets have been included like Miss Piggy, Gonzo, and the Swedish Chef.
According to Reddit user IceJD, two more Muppets are coming our way soon: Bob Cratchit Kermit and Miss Piggy Emily Cratchit. (No, I don’t know why their Muppet names and Muppet Christmas Carol names are in inverted orders.)
Both characters will be available on December 15th for a “clear event”, both as a prize for completing the event and available to purchase with in-game diamonds. I’m sure this means nothing to people who don’t already play the game.
We’re always excited to see Muppets show up in various Disney properties, and it’s especially nice to see a recognition of Muppet Christmas Carol!
