RIP Neville Brothers Saxophonist, Charles Neville

The Neville Brothers found fame as an R&B band from the 1970s through 2012, well known for Aaron Neville’s familiar falsetto singing voice.  One of the brothers, Charles, has sadly passed away at the age of 79.

In 1993, the Neville Brothers appeared on Sesame Street.  This time, Charles had an opportunity to put down the sax and sing right next to Elmo.  The Brothers sang “Believe in Yourself”, a popular Sesame song that had also been covered by Ray Charles, Diana Ross, *NSYNC, and others.

You can watch the performance below, and keep an eye on Charles (he’s the one in the tie-dye shirt), who seems to be having the time of his life.
