Cameron Garrity has been a big presence behind the scenes in the Muppet fan world for years. In addition to his general fandom (which we all share), he’s a talented puppeteer, puppet builder, podcaster, writer, and graphic designer. Frankly, there’s nothing he can’t do.
Among those many things he does is illustrations. Over the past couple years, Cameron has been sharing brilliant Muppet cartoons on social media, and each one is better than the last. He’s made so many of these, we decided to share them over the course of two ToughPigs features! Lucky us, and lucky you!
Cameron’s work features spot-on yet simple versions of the Muppet characters we all know and love, but most of them have the added bonus of deep-cut references to tickle fanatics like us. You’ll see references to Christmas Eve on Sesame Street, A Muppet Family Christmas, and even Sesame Street Live! Even if you don’t get the references, Cam’s work is highly enjoyable by all.
