Well, we’re still stuck inside. But as long as we’re social distancing, we might as well invite some more folks from the worlds of the Muppets for a few live YouTube interviews!
We’re pleased to announce our next two interviewees! Remember, we want you to send us your pressing questions – just send them to us at asktp@toughpigs.com.
This Thursday, April 9th at 5pm ET, we’ll be joined by artist Katie Cook! Katie has written and provided artwork for the Fraggle Rock and Storyteller comics, and she’s a huge Muppet fan in her own right. In addition to all that, she’s worked in the universes of Star Wars and My Little Pony, and the third season of her original webcomic “Nothing Special” just launched.
On Tuesday, April 14th at 7:30pm ET, (UPDATE: This interview will now take place on Wednesday, April 15th at 7:30pm ET!) Craig Shemin will be sitting down with us for a chat about his work writing for the Muppets, working with Jim Henson, writing the Muppet Character Encyclopedia, hosting events at the Museum of the Moving Image, and being married to the incomparable Muppet performer Stephanie D’Abruzzo.
If you can’t wait that long, Craig will also be hosting a live video of Muppet trivia on the Museum of the Moving Image’s Facebook page this Saturday, April 11th at 7pm ET. Craig will be asking and answering questions, he’ll show off some of the Muppet stuff in his own collection, and he promises an appearance by Stephanie D’Abruzzo as well.
By the way, in case you missed our last two interviews, watch our live chats (which, I guess, are no longer live, but you get the idea) with Dylan “Hornswoggle” Postl and Brian Jay Jones below!
Again, be sure to send us your questions for Katie Cook and Craig Shemin to asktp@toughpigs.com, or watch our interviews live and join our conversation there! We’ll share the live link on our Facebook and Twitter feeds shortly before we begin.
