There are some incredible Muppet fan artists out there in the world, and we’re doing our best to keep these art spotlights going to highlight our very favorites. Unsurprisingly, almost all of those artists tend to work in similar mediums: Illustration, painting, colored pencils, digital art. So very, very two-dimensional.
What’s been missing is that pop off the page. Something with texture and depth. Something like the art created by the amazing Debra Forth.
Debra is responsible for sculpting some of the most delightful Muppet art I’ve ever seen, creating tiny sculptures, ornaments, and even jewelry adorned with our favorite Muppets and Henson characters. We’re excited to showcase some of her most impressive pieces, as well as some good ol’ fashioned illustrations too (including one of Rugby and Mew, which was featured in The Great Muppet Mural).
If you dig Debra’s work, we highly recommend following her on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, and you can’t miss by stopping by her Etsy shop where many of these creations are currently up for sale!
Many, many thanks to Debra for allowing us to share your work! Enjoy, folks!
