Previously on the ToughPigs Election, we asked you to nominate any character from the worlds of Sesame Street, The Muppets, and Henson (miscellaneous) for the most important job of their fictional lives – President of ToughPigs!
The nominations have been open for a week (ToughPigs elections move faster than actual ones!), and we’re delighted to announce the nominees in each party. First of all, thank you for voting! We received votes from over 160 voters and got submissions for 177 different characters. We couldn’t have done this without you, so thanks for helping us out!
177 characters would be too many for a primary, so we decided that the ballot would consist of characters who were nominated four or more times. For this reason, each party has a different number of nominees. But here are the characters that four or more of you decided would be a good President:
