Look, we all agree that The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance is a terrific series. It’s interesting, gorgeous, inventive, and quite possibly the best thing The Jim Henson Company has made in the last few decades. But do the big award shows agree?
Yes they do! As evidenced by the series’ big win tonight at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
The Dark Crystal tied with HBO’s We Are The Dream: The Kids Of The Oakland MLK Oratorical Fest to win for Outstanding Children’s Program. They beat out The Disney Channel’s Star Wars Resistance, the only other nominee in this category.
Below is the presentation of the Creative Arts Emmy Award, presented by Sesame Street star Giancarlo Esposito, with short speeches by the Producers.
