Break out the radishes and dance your cares away! A reboot of Fraggle Rock is coming to Apple TV+!
According to Vulture‘s Josef Adalian, the steaming service reached a deal with The Jim Henson Company for a formal reboot following the success of the recent short series Fraggle Rock: Rock On! In addition, Apple TV+ will become the exclusive streaming home for the original 1983-87 series, as well as “some specials.” Does this mean that Down at Fraggle Rock: Behind the Scenes and Doozer Music could also be heading to Apple TV+? We don’t know, but it is exciting to think of.
With Sesame Street developing multiple shows for HBO Max and Muppets Now coming to Disney+, it seems we may be heading towards a new golden age of Jim Henson’s creative worlds on TV. It’s truly nice to know that now more than ever, “you cannot leave the magic.”
