This Saturday, May 16, marks the 30th anniversary of the day we lost Jim Henson. To commemorate the occasion, the four surviving “Muppet guys” from the Muppet Guys Talking documentary are coming together virtually. On Saturday at 4:00 PM Eastern time, Frank Oz, Fran Brill, Dave Goelz, and Bill Barretta will be talking about Jim and his work, and raising money with a fundraiser “to help those who are on the front lines battling Covid 19.”
The event is free to watch, so you should go to MuppetGuysTalking.com/Jim right now to register. When you register, you can also submit a question if there’s something specific you’d like them to talk about… but don’t expect Frank and Dave to reveal anything about “the Camel.” I don’t think we’re ever going to find out what the heck that means.
