Muppet Babies, the animated series starring young whippersnapper versions of our favorite Muppet pals, has been renewed for a third season!
The series has proved to be a hit amongst kids and fans, and as the only regular Muppet-related content coming to us from Disney these days, we absolutely appreciate it for its quality. So in getting a season 3, we’re pleased to see that Disney Junior is allowing the show to continue on and grow the brand.
But that’s not the only exciting news! We’ve also learned that the second season (arriving much sooner) will feature appearances by baby versions of more of our favorite Muppets, including Sweetums and the Swedish Chef. We’ll also see Rizzo’s brother Vinny and Miss Nanny’s temporary replacement, Mr. Manny. Oh, and also Skeeter.
Yeah. Skeeter.
