I’m not much of a fan of cooking shows – too much deliciousness without the satisfaction of actually getting to eat anything. To get me excited, there needs to be a really good hook. A bit of story perhaps, or an element of horror, or puppets. Or how about all three?
Netflix has just announced The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell, a “horror baking show” starring baker and artist Christine McConnell who will be creating “creepy treats and decor” along with a cast of spoopy Henson Alternative puppets.
What’s interesting is that this looks to be a combination of reality and scripted TV. What’s even more interesting is the designs of these cool-looking puppets. Because that’s all we really care about in the end, right folks?
