Sculptor Gregg Ortiz has created some amazingly detailed dolls of Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, and many others, all of which are absolutely stunning. And now the Jim Henson Company has given him the keys to the Fraggle car. Starting with Red Fraggle, Ortiz will be sculpting and selling Fraggle dolls.
Here’s the kicker: Red costs $1200. For that same amount, you could buy about 40 of the plush dolls already out in stores. This doll also is limited to only 50 pieces, so be sure to buy yours right away, before all those other people with $1200 burning a hole in their pocket find out about this.

9 points of articulation and a pose-able wired tail. “RED’s” flowing whimsical pompon hair is hand created with dyed ostrich feathers with yellow and fuchsia highlights. Wrapped with satin and velvet bows. Her fantasy eyes are inset with black felt pupils and the wonderful expression of her mouth is captured with the layering of imported felts and embroidery. RED wears her Iconic sweater, Couture Designed red chenille, trimmed with red velvet piping.Together you can dream share, or complete displaying on her Lucite base complete with anniversary metal decorative tag, Certificate of Authenticity and hang tag.
