No, it’s not a hoax or a tease or a terrible, malicious lie. One of Sesame Street fans’ favorite releases is getting a new installment. Old School volume 3, covering 1979-1984, will be in stores this fall.
According to TVshowsonDVD.com, who heard it from Warner Home Video, who presumably heard it from Sesame Workshop, the DVD set will be in stores on November 6. Just in time for the holidays (aka: Christmas presents for me).
The set will include segments from the epic trip to Puerto Rico, Snuffy and Gordon running the New York City Marathon, loads of bonus features, and more behind-the-scenes footage. Basically, it’s a Sesame Street fan’s dream.
We’ll post more information, including the list of bonus features and cover art, as soon as they become available to us. In the meantime, start salivating!
