This morning, I tumbled out of bed and stumbled to the kitchen, poured myself a cup of ambition, and discovered that Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch appeared in a new commercial for IBM.
Yes, the duo make a very brief cameo in an IBM ad, along with a couple of Muppetized numbers. Sadly, despite the commercial making a solid use of the Dolly Parton song “9 to 5”, they did not use this opportunity to resurrect the classic Sesame Street character Polly Darton. Oh well, we can always hear Polly’s rendition of “1 to 5” instead.
