Meeting Uncle Deadly
My favorite Muppet moment is tough, there are so many great moments in the Original Muppet show, but I suppose episode 121 where we get to know Uncle Deadly is probably one of my favorites. I love his character both as a design and as a personality and have championed him since I started working with the company since 1987!

Muppet Newsflash – The Furniture Monster
As a kid, I always loved the bit where the newsman’s desk turned into a monster and ate him. This, of course, after he dismissed a related story about furniture turning into monsters as completely ridiculous. I remember watching and rooting for it to happen, anytime Muppet News came on.

Time In A Bottle
First, I love the song and this version is as entertaining as it is haunting. If I were to get a little maudlin: I wish Jim could’ve saved some more time for us to share with him.

Muppet Melodramas
One of my favorite moments is The Muppet Melodrama, a truly underrated duo of sketches where Uncle Deadly, Miss Piggy, and Wayne would play out the cliched trifecta of the Evil Doer, Damsel, and Hero respectively. Always ending with Deadly and Wayne befriending leaving Piggy to her doom was just the epitome of “Bros before …”,well y’know…

The Rhyming Song
One of the very best pieces from The Muppet Show is The Rhyming Song, which was performed in the Loretta Lynn episode by Fozzie, Scooter, Link and Annie Sue. The song comes in desperation to come up with a new act and, in this song co-written by Frank Oz, embodies a lot of what makes the Muppets what they are. Incredibly funny despite it’s very simplistic running gag [spoilers: it does not all resemble a rhyming song], a catchy and entertaining piece in its own right, frequently well-regarded as one of The Muppet Show’s funniest pieces, even if it’s not iconic outside the fandom.

Marty Feldman & Sesame Street
Hi, I’m J. D. Hansel. As anyone who knows my fansite can tell you, I’m a big fan of bringing all things Muppetational together in one place. Naturally, this makes me adore Muppet crossovers. Muppet Family Christmas is my daily bread, and I will never get tired of watching Gonzo’s dispute with Elmo. On The Muppet Show, however, there are only a small handful of times when Sesame characters appeared, and the grandest of all their special guest appearances was in the Marty Feldman episode. Most of the third act is dominated by Sesame jokes, and Cookie Monster’s resemblance to Feldman makes for one of the series’ greatest sight gags. It’s a moment that’s not often remembered, but it’s always a classic in my book.

Feelings
My favorite Muppet Show moment is Beaker singing “Feelings.” I crack up every time I see it; it is so ridiculous. The poor guy has so much passion for his performance, only to be crushed by the booing of the audience. Not to mention it’s just plain funny to hear Beaker’s rendition of the song.

Java
My personal favorite Muppet Show moment is the Java sketch from the Ethel Merman episode in season 1. In spite of being one of many times the sketch has been performed, I still enjoy it a lot thanks to the creative design of the Java creature itself as well as the catchy instrumental tune in the background.

I’ll Ketchup
Well one of my favourite’s is in the All Food Glee Club’s number in the Steve Martin epsiode, when someone says:
“Tomato, you’re slow” and the Tomato replied “I’ll Ketchup’
