What’s new with that wacky gang of furry folks on Sesame Street? We’ll find out soon, as Season 54 is set to premiere on Max on Thursday, November 9.
This season’s curriculum is continuing the show’s “Celebrating You, Celebrating” me theme, with a lot of the street stories focusing on celebrating everyone’s cultural uniqueness. We’ll also be properly introduced to some new Muppet characters, including Lalo, TJ, and Yasmine. There will also be a special appearance by Lily the Tiger from the Chinese co-production.
As always, expect to see some famous people show up. This season’s roster of celebrity guests includes Ariana DeBose, Quinta Brunson, Brandi Carlile, Kal Penn, Eugene Cordero, and Dan Levy. I’ve heard of those people!
