The Television Critics Association is starting to roll out their previews and teases for this fall, and The CW just dropped a shocker on us. It seems that they’re interested in getting into the Muppets game.
Last year, the CW aired a rerun of “Letters to Santa“, and it turned out to be a ratings hit for them. So just imagine what a new holiday special could bring them!
CW chief Mark Pedowitz is promising another Muppets special this holiday season. Actually, I don’t want to mess this up, so here’s the direct quote:
“I can promise another Muppets special this holiday season.”
I’m going to go ahead and assume he means a new Muppet special, as opposed to rerunning another classic (or, not-so-classic) special. But either way, promises were made, and we’re holding you to it, Pedowitz!
