What a great country we live in.  We can eat hot dogs and ice cream whenever we want. We get to vote for our local ombudsman.  And the Muppets are here to help us pay tribute to America’s birthday.

Kermit and Miss Piggy appeared on A Capitol Fourth on PBS on July 4th, and because our freedom also extends to the internet (for now, at least), we get to watch them sing “This Land is Your Land” and “Rainbow Connection” right here, right now!

UPDATE: Fozzie Bear and Animal both made appearances on A Capitol Fourth as well!  Both appearances are on YouTube, but because the full video is so long, you’ll have to find them yourself.  Skip to 49:27 (or click here) to see Fozzie Bear, and skip to 1:24:25 (or click here) to see Animal!

As a bonus, we’ve got a few local TV news appearances by Tom Bergeron and Kermit the Frog.  If you’re a good American, you’ll watch them all!
