Just hours after hearing of the passing of Helen Reddy, we’ve learned that yet another Muppet Show guest star has passed away. Please join us in remembering Mac Davis.

Mac Davis was best known for his career as a country music singer and songwriter. Aside from his hit, “Baby, Don’t Get Hooked On Me”, he also wrote songs for Elvis Presley such as “In the Ghetto” and “A Little Less Conversation”.

In 1981, Davis appeared in an extremely memorable episode of The Muppet Show, in which Beaker gets cloned and the meeping doppelgangers take over the Muppet Theater. Below you’ll find just a few of Mac Davis’s moments from this episode.

Thanks to Mac Davis for providing such a memorable Muppet Show episode. We’ll miss you.
