Last year, Archaia Comics made Henson fans happy by including the Fraggle Rock comic book as one half of their Free Comic Book Day offering. And now they’re going for a double whammy by offering their upcoming Dark Crystal comic book for 2011’s FCBD.
Free Comic Book Day will be on May 7, 2011, and you’ll be able to go into your local comic book store and walk away with free stuff from just about every comic book publisher. No, really.
As an added bonus, the flip-side to the Dark Crystal comic book will be David Petersen‘s Mouse Guard. And that guy is pretty awesome. In case you didn’t know.
We don’t know a whole lot about the Dark Crystal comic book yet, but at least you can marvel at the Brian Froud cover art seen above. Not too shabby!
