Report: Dinosaurs are Coming to Disney+

First they walked the earth millions of years before mankind. Then they appeared on TGIF. And now they’re coming to Disney+.

Dinosaurs, the prehistoric hit sitcom from The Jim Henson Company, will reportedly stream on Disney+! The show originally aired on the Disney-owned ABC network, and unlike some other Henson-related shows we could mention, there are no music rights issues to keep it off the air. Therefore, it’s a no-brainer to see this classic show on Disney’s premier platform.

This news comes from an off-hand remark made by Ryan Reynolds on the ABC game show Don’t, in which he revealed that the series will be streaming this fall. Of course, it’s very possible that this was just a joke by Reynolds, but the news seems to have been confirmed by director and character designer Kirk Thatcher as well as Muppet performer Bill Barretta on social media.

Still, we’ll consider this a plausible rumor until otherwise confirmed by Disney. Stay tuned to ToughPigs as we continue to investigate!
