There’s been a bit of a shake-up this year for the Emmy Awards. Past Sesame Street and Henson-related media have been nominated in whatever time slot their programs aired in (Primetime or Daytime). This year, they’ve instead been lumped all together for the 1st Annual Children’ and Family Emmys. And what a competition it will be – Sesame Workshop, The Muppets Studio, and The Jim Henson Company all have nominations, some even in contention with each other!
