Up Late with ToughPigs always has an eye on anything and everything Up Late with Miss Piggy related. We’re usually the first ones on the scene. The ones with the latest scoop. We’ve come to really pride ourselves in our dedication to the show and the fans.
But we can’t be the only ones who’ve noticed that recently something with the Up Late with Miss Piggy Twitter account has been a little… well… off?
We first noticed this with a tweet that came out only a couple weeks back:
It seemed odd at the time, yes, but we shrugged it off. We just figured that the marketing team was going for a more carefree tone with its viewers. (Though, I mean, why anyone would not want to watch Up Late is a mystery to me!)
But then over the next week these tweets surfaced:
Finally, just a couple of days ago, these two tweets were posted:
Today, we noticed all of these tweets had been taken down (luckily we screenshot every single tweet Up Late with Miss Piggy posts, because what kind of fanbase would we be if we didn’t?). So far the only word all of these mysterious tweets is this:
This sure is a head scratcher, folks. Who do you think could be behind this? A disgruntled intern? A marketing ploy? A rival late night talk show? The world may never know!
