If Miss Piggy is getting married, then she’s going to do it in style.
Harper’s Bazaar has posted the above photo of Piggy in her new wedding dress, designed by famed designer Vivienne Westwood. That’s probably a big deal in the designer world. I live in the Muppet world, so I don’t really know.
Piggy also got the chance to interview Ms. Westwood, which you can read below:
Miss Piggy: Besides the incredible opportunity to design for one of the greatest beauties of our time—moi—what inspired you to create this gown?
Vivenne Westood: The dress is one of my favorite styles. It’s called the Court dress and is inspired by 17th-century English royalty and the court of King Charles II. It has been designed especially for you in a white pearl sequin fabric made from recycled water bottles. It’s the perfect choice for a royal sow.
MP: My mantra is “It’s better to live beyond your means than beneath your standards.” What’s your mantra?
VW: “Buy less, choose well, and make it last.”
So, Piggy’s getting married, huh? I wonder what the groom will wear. And I wonder who the groom will be…
