The Webby Awards have been announced! And not-so-surprising, the Muppets and Sesame Street are walking away with a few. The winners are:
- SesameStreet.org is the People’s Voice winner in Websites – Home/Welcome Page
- The Never-Ending Mahna Mahna Phenomena is the People’s Voice winner in Websites – Movie and Film
- SesameStreet.org is the Webby winner in Websites – Youth
- The Muppet Show Theme Song (with OK Go) is the People’s Voice winner for Online Film & Video – Viral
Congrats to everyone involved! And watch the awards ceremony, hosted by Patton Oswalt, on May 21 at 4:30pm EST on WebbyAwards.com. With any luck, the Muppets will be back again to deliver one of their five-word acceptance speeches!
