weird stuff

Sure, the Muppets are cute, and the Muppets are musical, and the Muppets are fun for all ages. But Jim Henson and his crew had some wild imaginations, and sometimes the Muppets are also pretty darn strange.  For every “Rainbow Connection,” there’s a “Mahna Mahna”.  For every “Happy Feet,” there’s a “Ying Tong Song”.  For every Big Bird, there’s a Three-Legged Screaming Thing.  So it’s time for us to give a well-deserved spotlight to the Koozbanians and Clodhoppers and Weirdos of the Muppets.

Join us on Saturday, May 17 at 7:30pm (doors at 7:00pm) in Brooklyn, NY for Muppet Vault: Weird Stuff! We’ll be showing some of our favorite strange moments from The Muppet Show, Sesame Street, and various rare Muppet TV appearances and commercials. We’ll be scouring the Muppet archives for the most bizarre sketches and characters, including a certain blue, hook-nosed, chicken-loving weirdo.

The show will be held at Union Hall, located at 702 Union Street in Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY. The venue is near the 2,3,4,D,N, and R trains. So many options! Union Hall has a fully-stocked bar, food options, a fireplace, a library, and two bocce ball courts. “Bocce” is a weird word.  Say it out loud!  Bocce.

Unfortunately, due to the bar atmosphere, the Muppet Vault is only for fans 21 and over. So feel free to bring your parents, bring your grandparents, and bring your pet Frackle!

Seating at Union Hall is very limited, so pre-ordering tickets is highly recommended. Click here to reserve your tickets now.
