If there’s one thing we love doing at the Muppet Vault, it’s riding the coattails of whatever people are talking about at the moment to pretend we’re being topical. For our next show, we’ll be in the middle of Academy Awards week, which means it’s time for us to bring back our Movies-themed show!
Join us on Monday, February 22nd at 8:00pm (doors at 7:30pm) in Brooklyn, NY for Muppet Vault: Movies! We’ll be sharing some of our favorite clips featuring Muppet movie parodies, Academy Award winning celebrities, and some recent Sesame Street film spoofs! As a bonus, we’ll be showing the extra rare The Muppets Go Hollywood, the red carpet spectacular used to promote The Muppet Movie! As always, we’ll have drink specials, trivia, and prizes. All that for only $8! That’s, like, a third of the price of a movie ticket in New York City nowadays.
The show will be held at Union Hall, located at 702 Union Street in Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY. The venue is near the 2,3,4,D,N, and R trains. So many options! Union Hall has a fully-stocked bar, food options, a fireplace, a library, and two bocce ball courts. Plus, the floor considerably less sticky than your local movie theater!
Unfortunately, due to the bar atmosphere, the Muppet Vault is only for fans 21 and over. So feel free to bring your parents, bring your grandparents, and bring film critic Leonard Maltin!
Seating at Union Hall is very limited, so pre-ordering tickets is highly recommended. Click here to reserve your tickets!
