Everyone loves Animal. Seriously, everyone. If you polled a random selection of human beings, 75% would claim that Animal is their favorite Muppet, 23% would put Animal in their top 5, and the other 2% have no soul and should not be included in our scientific study. What I’m saying is: Animal is great, and everyone agrees with me.
Join us on Sunday, November 23rd at 8:00pm (doors at 7:30pm) in Brooklyn, NY for Muppet Vault: Animal Rocks! We’ll be spotlighting the best of our favorite beastly, sex-obsessed drummer and his compatriots of The Electric Mayhem from The Muppet Show, the Muppet movies, and various rare appearances. That means lots of great music, and also a lot of monosyllabic shouting. But also great music, an uncontrollable id, and more percussion than you can shake a drumstick at. And as always, we’ll have trivia, prizes, and drink specials. All that for only $8!
The show will be held at Union Hall, located at 702 Union Street in Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY. The venue is near the 2,3,4,D,N, and R trains. So many options! Union Hall has a fully-stocked bar, food options, a fireplace, a library, and two bocce ball courts. They also claim to be equipped to handle the thunderous noise of a real rock and roll band, but they haven’t seen the Electric Mayhem yet.
Unfortunately, due to the bar atmosphere, the Muppet Vault is only for fans 21 and over. So feel free to bring your parents, bring your grandparents, and bring a chain long enough to reach the venue!
