Did you stop by ToughPigs on April 1st? Well then you likely have egg ALL over your face, because we fooled you! Yeah, we made you believe some totally unbelievable things! Just imagine if we used this power for good.
Continuing our annual tradition of doing ridiculous things on April Fool’s Day, ToughPigs announced a series of Muppet Babies-inspired spinoffs from all sorts of Muppet, Henson, and Sesame properties. From obvious ones like Sesame Street and Fraggle Rock to classics like Sam & Friends to obscure shows like Starboppers (which never even completed a pilot). They’re all getting Babies shows. I mean, not really. That’s the gag.
To really sell the joke, we reached out to some of our talented artist friends, who graciously created artwork to accompany all of the announcements. So, a HUGE thanks to Dave Hulteen, Noah Ginex, Jay Fosgitt, Luke Flowers, Jon Brangwynne, Clayton Roederer, Sarah Rebar, Justin Piatt, Evan G., and Chris “Smig” Smigliano (who also provided our amazing header art!).
