Murray Monster and Sonia Manzano (best known as Maria) will be making the trek up north to Toronto, Canada for the kids’ portion of the Toronto International Film Festival (best known as TIFF) this April. Events will include:
- April 18 & 19: Filmmakers will have a chance to pitch ideas to Sesame Workshop for a chance to have their segment produced for Sesame Street
- April 19: “Master Class with Sesame Workshop: Inspiring the Global Child”, a panel with Sonia Manzano and Joey Mazzarino about the making of Sesame Street
- April 20 & 21: Photo ops with Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Abby Cadabby (the live costumed characters, not the puppets)
- April 20: Free screening of “Elmo’s Alphabet Challenge”
- Additional Sesame activities like a make-a-film workshop, a Sesame Street app showcase, and more
