… On second thought, why don’t you just go ahead and dress up like a Muppet? Look how much fun these people are having. Just forget I said anything.

Next is Patrick Holmes, who sent this picture from Halloween, 1980, when he was four years old. In the picture is Patrick’s older brother Brian, age 9, as Chewbacca, and his younger brother Kevin, age 2, taking on Bugs Bunny. Young Patrick, naturally, is representing for Oscar.
Finally, the grand marshal of this year’s Muppet Fan Halloween Parade: Nick Moreau, with my very favorite costume of the year. This is Nick himself at age 4, from 1990… dressed as Betty Lou.
Little boys dressed up as Muppet girls! Now THAT is what this holiday is all about.
