Sesame Street has always been the most welcoming place in the world. But before you get to the “welcome” moment, something else needs to bring you into the fold. And that’s the Sesame Street theme song.
The Sesame Street YouTube page put together a mashup of all the different intros that were used throughout the years, including shots of kids on dirty playgrounds, Big Bird in a horse buggy, and Oscar driving the Sloppy Jalopy down the street. Check it out below!
