There’s nothing quite like seeing a design that puts your favorite characters on display for a museum-worthy piece of art.  The folks at Dark Hall Mansion have been working with Sesame Street to create some artwork featuring Big Bird, Cookie Monster, and the rest of the gang that promises to impress even the most critical of fans (that’s us!).

The picture above, illustrated by Tom Whalen, will be available for purchase through the Dark Hall Mansion online store beginning this Friday, October 27th at 12:30pm PST.  The prints will cost $55, and it’ll be limited to just 280 prints, or if you prefer your art to be even more rare, you can get one of the variants (in slightly different color schemes).

The yellow “Big Bird Variant” will be capped at just 50 prints at $85 each, and the silver foil and gold foil variants will be extremely rare at only 10 prints each for $125.  You can see what those look like below.

So as you can see, if you want to get one of these prints, you may want to act fast.  All of the prints are 18″x24″, hand numbered, and officially licensed by Sesame Workshop.

As an added bonus, the good folks at Dark Hall Mansion also shared these images, in which you can get an idea of the hard work artist Tom Whalen put into this work.  It’s amazing to see the beauty that came from such complicated-looking linework.

Again, you’ll be able to purchase these prints as early as this Friday, October 27th on the Dark Hall Mansion online store.
