Perhaps you recall when Disney bought Marvel Comics, and then Boom! Studios lost the right to print wonderful Muppet comics, as they had been doing so skillfully for so long. An entire arc of The Muppet Show Comic Book was left in limbo, floating in a comic book netherworld not unlike the Phantom Zone, just hoping to get published someday.

Guess what? It’s getting published!  By Marvel!  Bleeding Cool is reporting that Langridge’s “Four Seasons” arc will start showing up on comic book store shelves this July.  Better late than never, right?  Keep an eye right here on Tough Pigs as we try to suss out more details, and of course we’ll have our usual incredibly insightful reviews of the issues.

Thanks to Tough Pigs’ pal Brian for the alert! Click here to wonder what role Frankie Valli will play in the Muppet comics on the Tough Pigs forum!
